You’ll be joining our Agency Engagement team to become a key member in providing our clients access to a wider array of carriers and products. As an Agency Engagement Manager, you’ll work to strengthen our existing relationships with retail insurance agents by helping them get the most out of our platform and Market Access. We’re looking for someone well versed in the commercial P&C world that is able to understand our unique value add to agents and aid them in navigating quoting complex risks. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance industry, an insurtech background, strong sales acumen, and a proven track record of cultivating and maintaining client relationships.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Territory Account Manager to expand our client base and drive new business growth within assigned territories. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the commercial insurance, an insuretech background, strong sales acumen, and a proven track record of cultivating and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory Management: Develop and implement strategic plans to effectively manage assigned territories, identifying key growth opportunities and prioritizing initiatives to drive new business development.
Business Development: Proactively prospect, cold call, and network to generate leads and opportunities within the assigned territory, effectively showcasing our insurance products and services to potential clients.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with insurance brokers, agents, and other key stakeholders within the territory, serving as the primary point of contact and providing exceptional customer service and support.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute innovative sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and revenue goals, continuously assessing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine approaches and maximize effectiveness.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of Semsee’s insurance products, coverage options, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations, effectively communicating value propositions and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including underwriting, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives, leveraging cross-functional expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions and exceed client expectations.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to management on territory performance, market trends, and opportunities for optimization and growth.
