About this role
You’ll be joining our Agency Engagement team as a key member providing our clients access to a wider array of carriers and insurance products. As Agency Engagement Marketing Manager, you’ll work to strengthen our existing relationships with retail insurance agents in large part by creating impactful and engaging marketing campaigns to help them get the most out of our platform and Market Access.
We’re looking for someone experienced and well versed in the commercial P&C world who is able to understand our unique value add to agents and aid them in navigating quoting complex risks while also coordinating high-impact marketing campaigns (via email, in-app, on socials, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance industry and P&C appetite, with an insurtech, insurance placement specialist, or underwriting background, strong marketing acumen, and a proven track record of cultivating and maintaining client relationships.
You Will:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns to effectively engage agencies, identifying key growth opportunities and prioritizing initiatives to drive new business submissions and achieve revenue targets.
- Work cross-functionally with our Carrier Account Management and Market Access Underwriting teams to identify agents’ market needs and champion their needs to find and develop the right insurance products for them.
- Coordinate high-impact marketing campaigns that help us reach our revenue goals.
- Serve as a source of knowledge of appetite, market trends, and other underwriting policies, consulting our agents on how to best leverage Semsee to quote their risks.
- Become an expert on our platform and the many products available to address client inquiries and effectively communicate our value proposition. Maintain a thorough understanding of our insurance products, coverage options, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations, effectively communicating value propositions and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Build and nurture strong relationships on behalf of Semsee with independent insurance brokers, agents, and other key stakeholders, making Semsee “stickier”.
You’re Well Qualified for this Role if You Have:
- 5+ years of Commercial P&C insurance experience, preferably in a placement specialist or underwriting capacity, with comprehensive understanding of P&C insurance coverages, placement, underwriting, and rating concepts and ability to educate others on these concepts. College degree and insurance designations (CIC, ARM, AAI, CPCU) preferred.
- Proficiency in Hubspot and ability to build and manage marketing sequences and flows within the platform
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction, strong business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work remotely and seamlessly with multiple internal teams
